Izmir Women's Museum, or as it is called by some, Izmir Women's Museum, is the fifth boutique museum opened in the world, which was opened in 2014, in Izmir, the first in Turkey, and this museum is one of the most important examples of human-centered museology rather than From a museology focused on collectibles, the museum aims to remind the whole world of the forgotten past and the power of Anatolian women, to reveal the creativity of Anatolian women, boost their self-confidence, and create a special place where memories of the past pulsate. The museum consists of three floors, and one of the most important exhibits here is the caftan embroidered with gold dating back to the nineteenth century, and while going up to the second floor, there are masks of women from Izmir on the walls, and on the second floor a room for women’s protest and complaints, and this is included in the various resistances of women in social life by showing their stories.
