Information about Queen's Park, Brighton
The Queen's Garden is a public park in Brighton, England. In 1825 Thomas Atrey, a Brighton property owner and developer, acquired land North East Road - already known as Brighton Park - to build a residential park surrounded by detached villas, inspired by Regents Park in London. He commissioned architect Charles Galloway to design it. Atrey decided to name it after Queen Adelaide, consort of King William IV. A very beautiful garden, ideal for spending quality time with family and enjoying the magic of nature.
