The Presidential Museum and Library is the principal office of the President responsible for the promotion, history and preservation of the Philippine Presidency and its heritage, particularly the Malacanan Palace as his official residence. It is a major historical and artistic repository in support of the institution of the presidency and in the interest of the Republic and the Filipino people. It exercises primary responsibilities for organizing and preserving exhibitions and advisory responsibilities regarding structures and facilitates tours of certain areas within the Palace, which was established in 2004.
