A groundwater complex built during the time of the Abbasid Caliph Harun al-Rashid, specifically in the year 798 AD. It has an amazing architecture, its size is nearly 400 meters and is dotted with beautiful pointed arches. This pond was used until the end of the eleventh century, when its solid architecture withstood the devastating earthquakes that shook the country through the ages. Now it is not used, but it has been converted into a tourist site, as inside the pond there are small boats for visitors to take a tour of the place.
