The historic Ponte da Barca Bridge is located at the edge of the beautiful village of Ponte da Barca in the green area of Minhota, and passes over the scenic Lima River, and is an important crossing point and a central and regional hub for transportation towards the coast. Significant renovation in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, today it consists of ten arches broken or complete and unequal to each other, and preserves only eight porticos from the Middle Ages.
