The Besantis Bridge was built in 1962, as it represents a unique blend of modern architecture and modern facilities, with a vehicular street and a pedestrian street. As it was built with one large arcade, it was the largest of its kind in the whole of Europe. For a nice view, it is recommended to walk towards Corso Mazzini and look to the right next to the Basilica of San Giovanni.
