The Mellah Suleiman Bridge is known locally as Al-Sonsour Bridge. It is a pedestrian bridge located between the Sidi Rashid and Al Qantara bridges and connects the Mahatta area with the center of Constantine. It was built between 1917 and 1925, and underwent a restoration process in the early 2000s. The work affected only the The structure of the bridge and the maintenance of the cables that carry it. It is worth noting that the bridge was named after the martyr Rashid Al-Halawani, called "Mallah Suleiman".
