Place Drouet d'Erlon has an ancient history associated with the city of Reims. In the twelfth century, it was called Place de la couture, and craftsmen such as cabinet-makers, carpenters, workers, fashion designers and others settled in it and set up their workshops. Nowadays, the place is dedicated to pedestrians, and it is decorated with a large fountain crowned with a bronze statue as a symbol of victory.
