A public square located in the city of Padua in Italy, its construction dates back to the fourteenth century. It is one of the most important squares in the city. For centuries, this square has hosted important official civil and governmental celebrations. The square was established to give the city’s historic clock tower importance, and to facilitate access to the palace located on the eastern side of it, as well as the clock tower. The square is surrounded by a group of Monumental buildings dating from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
