The Prime Minister's Building or Perdana Putra is located in the first district of Putrajaya city, overlooking Putrajaya Lake, Putra Mosque and Putra Square. The Mughals, the lower two levels of which rest on a strong circumferential base that supports the Psalter Pillars that rise across the remaining four levels. This base symbolizes the strong and stable foundation necessary to run a dynamic and prosperous country like Malaysia, while the series of columns denotes the organized and united people who support the sovereignty of Malaysia.
