The People's Park is located in the center of Miskolc, and is the third largest park in the city. It was established in the 1870s, and until the end of the 1890s the park was still called "Elizabeth Park", where the statue of Queen Elizabeth was erected in 1899 by Alajos Stróbl, along with a number of other statues. This park is ideal for families and gatherings of friends, with great trees and shade, a children's playground, benches, walking paths, an ice rink, and an outdoor sports field.
