The Bannon Sea Museum, also known as the Ottó Herman Museum, is located at the foot of the Ava Hill, on the banks of the Zvena stream and inside the city's oldest non-church building. This 15th-century building has been a museum for more than a hundred years. Opened in 1899, it contains numerous exhibition spaces including the private collection of Zoltán Dömötör and a permanent exhibition on the history of photography, where a collection of beautifully crafted cameras for nearly 30 years has constituted the historical material for stunning and highly complex photography.
