Citadel Park is located on top of the Astagno Hill in Ancona, and the park overlooks the entire city, offering a charming view of the port of Ancona and the ships and yachts moored in the place. The park consists of a large green area divided into several areas separated by a group of paved stone paths. The park includes a children's playground containing a set of garden games, as well as an area dedicated to various sports and exercises that includes many sports equipment. There is also a dog walking area. The park is not without shops, restaurants and sweets kiosks distributed throughout the place. It is worth noting that the park houses the ancient castle of Ancona.
