Pantai Kerachote Beach is located within the Penang National Park on the west coast of Penang Island, and is home to the Penang Turtle Reserve and the rare Meromektic Lagoon, which consists of two layers of salt and fresh water that do not mix, and is characterized by its white sand and clear turquoise waters ideal for swimming and for enjoying various beach activities. It is surrounded by beautiful tropical forests rich in wildlife.
