The Dey Palace, or what is known as the Dai Hussein Palace, was built in the sixteenth century AD, and it is one of the beautiful palaces and architectural examples dating back to the distinguished Ottoman era. Built using stone, wood and brick, this red-coloured mansion boasts an amazing Italian touch of architecture and covers an area of 4,500 square metres. The palace includes residential suites and a hall with an arch and small columns dedicated to music, in addition to the diwan and the women-only suite.
