The Palace of Culture and Science was built decades ago by Joseph Stalin, while the city was under Soviet occupation as it is considered a gift from the Soviets to Poland. It is the tallest skyscraper in Warsaw, and one of its iconic buildings. There are three theatres, a cinema and other cultural institutions in it. And you can see the whole city from the viewing platform at the top of the tower, where you will get a great view of the city of Warsaw.
