The Eighteenth Century Museum displays the aristocratic and intellectual life of the inhabitants of the city of Brussels at the time, including silver, clocks, scientific instruments and medals. The works on display are from the collections of the Royal Museum of Art and History and the Royal Library. The museum is located in the Charles of Lorraine Palace. He who was Governor-General of the Austrian Netherlands from 1744 to 1780, is a stately eighteenth-century palace with period rooms displaying furniture, silver artifacts and fine art under the name of the Museum.
