This profession had three levels of ranks, the apprentices, followed by workers with medium responsibility, and the highest rank was for tanners. In this old quarter, with its cobblestone streets, tanning workshops are lined with old stone buildings. In addition to the tanneries, this neighborhood, which is an open-air museum, includes cafes, and leather shops, where when you visit, you can learn about hand tools that were used in antiquity, and the remaining leather products from that period.
