Information about Old Police Cells Museum
This Brighton, England museum offers tours of the old prison cells and a collection of Sussex Police history notes in the basement of City Hall. The museum was the brainchild of Brighton John John Drake. It was adopted by his wife as her willful project and the museum was opened on the 4th of May 2005 by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Mrs. Pat Drake. The museum was created thanks to the work and enthusiasm of retired police officers, servicemen and council staff and with the wonderful support of students from the Brighton Princess Trust and graphic students from the University of Brighton.
