The Odunpazari Modern Museum is a multicultural platform where around 1,000 pieces of modern and contemporary art from Turkey and beyond are displayed with a global perspective. It is a major new museum and architectural landmark designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, and was founded by the art collector Entrepreneur Erol Tabanca, the first of its kind in Eskişehir, With its stacked wooden design inspired by the streetscape of Turkey's Odunpazari district and its history as a timber market, the 4,500-square-meter museum stands as a landmark that reconnects the city with its heritage.
