Notre Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg was built between 1613 and 1621 AD by the Jesuits to serve as the church in their college (now the National Library). The north portal of the cathedral is a feature of the Renaissance and semi-baroque style of the period. Sculptures, arabesque-style columns, 19th and 20th century stained glass, neo-Gothic confessionals, modern sculptures, and bronze portals.
