The Nevşehir Museum was opened in 1988, to present the results of the vast majority of excavations that took place in the area. Today, the museum includes two exhibition halls, archaeological and ethnographic. On the ground floor, animal bones and fossils from previous eras are displayed, which are very interesting. The archaeological remains are displayed on the ground floor of the museum, according to their respective eras, and contain beautiful and well-preserved items, from The Bronze Age to the Byzantine and Ottoman periods, collections of stone tablets, coins, and medals from different periods are also interesting.
