In 1961, the government ordered the establishment of a museum to display the natural wealth of animals and plants in Montenegro, to attract visitors to the region, and this was successfully implemented with the establishment of this wonderful museum, which contains hundreds of birds and stuffed fish from Lake Skadar and a collection of plants from the Balkan countries The museum has been damaged many times since that time, but in 1985 the museum was restored and the collections returned to it, and the exhibits in it became the jewel of the Natural History Museum in Montenegro.
