The Meteora Museum of Natural History and the Mushroom Museum are located near the center of Kalabaka and its most important hotels, making it easily accessible for tourists and locals. The museum includes within its collection a large number of wild animals that live in different environments and links them to the types of mushrooms that grow in those environments so that it tracks their development and illustrates the conditions in which they live with other living creatures. The museum organizes specialized tours for groups in order to learn about the secrets of nature, especially the secrets of the mushroom world.
