The various collections of the museum deal with the history of education in Greece and trace its development from the early times of Greek civilization to contemporary methods of education and modern curricula in Greece, where the museum's organizers try to create an atmosphere of dialogue and interaction between visitors and ancient manuscripts and first editions of ancient Greek writers in order to reach the best ideas and innovations that would improve and advance the quality of education.
