Illustrating the history of Ukraine from ancient times to the present day, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine is one of the leading museums in Ukraine, with about 800,000 items in its exhibited collection, including statues of combat soldiers and their uniforms, shields, swords, chariots and even the remains of food they left behind. It is preserved in contemporary scientific methods, and today it is presented to the public as one of the museum's most important collections.
