The Anna Neri National Nursing Museum is located in Salvador and is one of the oldest medical museums in Salvador. Designed as a center for research and appreciation of nursing professionals, the museum is a tour of all stages of the profession's evolution, showing from the simplest techniques of the past to the advancements and technologies of today. The museum is headquartered in a 19th-century building in Pelorinho and was established in 2010 in honor of Anna Justina Ferreira Nery, a nurse who provided valuable services to the casualties of the Paraguayan war.
