This National Museum of Montenegro is located in the capital, Steni, and it is an old museum that dates back to 1896. The museum consists of 5 main sections that hold many diverse exhibitions, the first section is devoted to the history of the state of Montenegro, and the second section is the “ethnological” section that researches the origins of peoples different characteristics, their distribution, and their relationships to each other. The third section is specialized in art, as it displays many artworks of paintings and sculptures, and the fourth section is a literary exhibition, which displays many literary works, especially everything related to Peter II Petrovich Negos. The museum also includes the building of King Nicholas Palace, which is classified as Fifth section of the museum.
