This museum was designed in the house of Marko Miljanov Popović, a prominent warrior, hero, tribal leader and author of Montenegro, where he lived until 1901, and after his departure the house was modified to become a museum to document his life, so the exterior design was preserved as It is, and the interior design has been changed to suit the exhibits. The museum is divided into three wonderful sections: historical, ethnographic and literary. Where the historical section depicts the most important events from the heroic life of Marco, through their display of his personal clothes, weapons, documents and photographs. The ethnographic part of the museum contains some household items, fashion, ornaments and materials used in daily life, and it sheds light on the features of ordinary people's lives. The literary section of the museum highlights the literary activity of Marco Miliganov through their presentation of a collection of his manuscripts, his oldest publications, his works and his rich correspondence with his contemporaries.
