The Napoleon Stone Monument or Napoleon Stone is a memorial stone located in the Windknolen region. It was originally a border stone between Jena and the nearby Cospeda region. Today, it represents a memorial to the battle of Jena and Orstedt that took place northwest of the city in 1806 AD when Napoleon occupied the city and besieged it. N" in the stone as evidence of his victory, and the stone was later replaced several times with the letter "N" re-engraved on it and it became a monument and an important tourist destination in the city.
