Nanyao Temple is one among the many centers of worship that can be found in Shangua, Taiwan. Its buildings are characterized by a mixture of local, Japanese, Baroque, Greek, and North Chinese architectural styles, all of which rely on timber to make the coverings for the walls and ceilings, on which many images are engraved. And the inscriptions on it manually, which still to this day reflect the nobility of Taiwanese history.
