Shanghwa Koshenga Temple is located in the south of Naino Palace in the city of Shanghwa. The temple is distinguished by its distinctive external architecture, which is different from the rest of the temples. The temple has a special sanctity, as it includes the Koxinga shrine, which dates back more than three centuries and has remained steadfast throughout these years despite the succession of calamities. Visitors and pilgrims come to perform religious rituals annually, and some special religious ceremonies are held in the temple.
