The Railway Museum is located at the northwest end of Nairobi station, and is visible from the Uhuru Expressway as it crosses the main line. This museum was established in 1971 AD by the East African Railway and Port Resources Corporation, with the aim of preserving artifacts and railway records in East Africa, and displaying them from its inception to the present day. In addition, it includes a group of steam locomotives and roller coasters, and a large number of exhibitions and small models.
