An art museum is an institution for general cultural development and community service, open to the public, who collects, preserves or conducts research on them, for the purposes of study, education and entertainment. The place brings together a selection of works of modern fine arts (painting and sculpture). The exhibition includes pieces illustrating the development of Roman painting in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and Roman art between the first half of the nineteenth century and the post-war period.
