The first modern and unique museum of printing located in Chania, Crete, and opened in 2005. It contains exhibitions relating to the development of graphic arts as well as two special exhibitions relating to the development of printing and the history of writing, and exhibitions holding rare publications (16th to 19th centuries) linking the history of printing The local history of Crete, and introduces all visitors to the history of printing through the interactive tour, where visitors can understand the path of printing from the Middle Ages to the present days during the tour, and all visitors are encouraged to print in the printing presses of the nineteenth century. Today the museum has been developed to contain two large wings, two exhibition halls, an impressive library, a bright amphitheater, an exhibition shop and a café.
