The Museum of the University of Alicante is a museum dedicated to contemporary art, opened in December 1999, and located on the campus of the University of Alicante. Its purpose is not only to host exhibitions, but also to provide a space for cultural activities and their dissemination, combining art, music, theatre, cinema, photography, archaeology and research. Fundamental to the museum's activity is the dissemination of historical and artistic heritage and the presentation of the creations of the twenty-first century.
