It is a railway museum in Sibiu. The museum, which opened in 1994, houses a collection of steam trains and engines, including 23 standard-capacity locomotives, 10 small-capacity locomotives, and two steam cranes. 7 of these locomotives are considered operable. The museum consists of a rotunda building and railway tracks. The locomotives on display were built between 1885 and 1959 in Romania and other countries, such as Germany and the United States.
