This museum was established as a result of the stage in which nature knew a rapid development, in Sibiu, in 1849, where the Transylvania Society for Natural Sciences was founded, by some local thinkers interested in this field, who wanted an organization that brings them together on the basis of their common passion for nature, to spread this passion among Society to educate the younger generation in the spirit of knowledge and nature conservation, the museum contains various exhibits related to this field, with many useful information accompanying each of these individual exhibits.
