The Museum of Modern Art (MAM) displays a selection of Brazilian modern art from the 20th and 21st centuries. It was opened in 1948 AD. The museum is characterized by a wonderful glass design and surrounded by stunning modern gardens designed by Roberto Burle Marx. The museum is located in Flamingo Park. In 1978, a tragic fire destroyed 90% of the museum's works, but most of its collection was reconstructed. It has a lot of old cameras, great paintings and a miniature of the city, and there is a small pool outside. It is a place really worth visiting.
