The National Museum of Fine Arts is a beautiful museum that contains one of the most important and most complete collections of Brazilian art in Brazil, housing around 20,000 different forms of paintings, sculptures, and prints. Brazilian paintings and sculptures from the 19th century make up the bulk of the collection, while there are small galleries dedicated to Brazilian folk art and African art.
