The Museum of Permanent Beauty is located on the second floor of the People’s Museum in Malacca and receives about two thousand visitors each month. It was opened in 1996 AD to document the history of beauty based on different cultures and beliefs, where pictures and exhibitions reveal the pain and sacrifices that some people endure to achieve their definition of beauty as it is. Recognized by their society and culture as the practice of tattooing on the skin, extending lips in the form of a disk, and tying the feet.
