The Kite Museum was opened in the building that houses the People’s Museum in Malacca in 1995 AD, and explains how the kite has served since its invention to man as a means of communication over long distances besides being a weapon of war, sport and entertainment. It also shows how kites are made in different countries and the different materials that are made It allows you to see traditional and modern kites of different shapes and sizes from different parts of the world.
