This museum was a school that was built by order of Sultan Al-Zayani Abu Tashfin, and it was known as the Tashfiniya school (with a beautiful architectural character), but today it has turned into a museum specialized in displaying everything related to the civilizations that settled in Algeria. When visiting, you will find many distinctive archaeological artifacts; Including the miniature stone models of many of the city's landmarks, the handle of the Zayania gate, and some traces of the Zayani era, in addition to tombstones, maps of Algeria, and others. It is worth noting that the display method used in the museum is very similar to that used in the Harbiye Museum in Taksim, Turkey.
