The Brandhorst Museum opened its doors in 2009, but it has already become part of the most important art museum in Munich. In fact, the ultra-modern building contains a lot of open and spacious galleries. Its permanent exhibitions include works by modern art icons such as Damien Hirst, Joseph Beuys and Andy Warhol, and also includes a portrait of the famous actress Marilyn Monroe. Avoid visiting the museum on Mondays as it is closed.
