This museum is located in an old Islamic castle, as it seeks to relive the moments and scenes of the splendor of this Andalusian city. The museum is located in the Torre de la Calahorra castle, in front of the mosque at the end of the Roman bridge. It also aims to evoke the splendor of Córdoba between the ninth and thirteenth centuries, a period of cultural, artistic and scientific prosperity. The facilities include a modern system where the speakers and infrared direct the visitor through eight thematic rooms. The museum also offers you the possibility to watch a 55-minute documentary film showing the evolution of humanity.
