It is one of the city's largest museums with an area of about 5,650 square meters. It was opened in 2012. The museum includes a rich collection of valuable artifacts, as well as a historical library that holds about 50,000 books from the collection of the famous Foundation of Sicily (Fondazione Sicilia), as well as a hall Extensive collection of stamps, coins, stone and copper carvings, in addition to a section that includes a rare collection of wooden statues dating back to the nineteenth century. The museum is particularly famous for its collection of Giacomo Cuticchio's Puppets.
