The Patagonian Museum focuses on the history of maritime navigation in the region and the effect of the marine life and wealth of the inhabitants of the country and the region, especially since many of them relied on making boats and diving to collect pearls and fishing to earn a living. The museum includes several facilities that display a group of creatures from both wildlife and marine life, the most important of which is the 16-pound large brown salmon that visitors flock to watch closely.
