The Archaeological Museum of Cordoba is located in the former palace of Páez, a well-known historical Spanish figure. The museum contains a wide range of artifacts dating from prehistoric times to the late Middle Ages, in addition to the archaeological remains of the Roman theater. The museum is united on the same site with archaeological collections, a sixteenth century palace and a contemporary building for history.
