Located in the basement of the Wahan Palace, the Archaeological Museum is the largest of the Alsatian museums displaying regional archaeological finds from prehistoric times to the Merovingian dynasty. The museum provides an overview of human customs in that region, starting from the first traces of human habitation until their settlement. The museum also displays a wide range of sculptures, drawings, ancient pottery, antique coins, ancient war tools, including swords, shields, and many other things that you must see.
