There is always something going on on Freiburg's Münsterplatz, where the weekly market takes place Monday through Saturday, which includes regional fruits and vegetables, flowers, herbs, cheese, meat, olives and handicrafts. Every July the regional wineries present their products at the Freiburg Wine Festival around the cathedral.
